30.06.2008 - Albacete Global Summary

Summary

A little disappointment in the camps of Natacha. Indeed, even if Natacha finishes 2 times in the points (6th and 4th) and wins 10 points, she was unable to take advantage of the opportunity to finish 2 times on the podium of the Spanish Championship.

With a yellow flag in the qualifications, an over steering car during the 1st and 2nd race, missed a start, a puddle of oil on the tack 2 laps before the end and a push from Yacaman at the end of the straight line for the 2nd race, events and the lack of success were very present during the weekend.

She remains in the race to the title with 7 points behind the 3 leaders drivers (35 points), and it can still happen a lot in the last 12 races remaining.

On a positive note, the work of physical condition made these last 6 months start to bear fruit, and she proved that even with a car performing poorly, she is able to keep the pressure for 30 minutes without making mistakes.

29.06.2008 - Albacete Race 2 (13:00)

Summary

Started 1st on the grid, Natacha misses its departure because of his clutch which has remained stuck. At the 1st turn, she is 3rd behind De Marco and Montserrat.

Her car did not seem much more efficient than at the 1st race and she must fight to maintain its 3rd place.

Just before the last lap, despite having a slight lead over Yacaman, she found the chicane stuck by him. On the line, she tries to stay on the right to prevent Yacaman moving but without success, and she gets 4th.

She must be content with a 2nd place on the podium in the Spanish Cup.

We will know more tomorrow on what really happened on departure, the behaviour of the car and the cause of the loss of the 3rd place.

29.06.2008 - Albacete (09:00)

Summary

H-3, a certain tension has arisen in the Camps of the of the supporters of Natacha, Olivier, her Father and her Grand-Father Georges. The three generations are ready to vibrate from 12:00. On her side, Natacha at her arrival at the circuit went directly to his engineer to discuss the work done on her car.

She doesn't speak too much, which means she is subject to a certain tension.

We will be all fingers crossed so Natacha can climb onto the podium and if possible, on the highest step.

28.06.2008 - Albacete Race 1 (20:00)

Summary

What a race! Places at the 6th position on the grid, Natacha took an excellent start and was able to maintain her place in the first turn. At the 4th turn, in a curve to the left, his car has suddenly been over-turn and she loose a place!

We felt that it was finished, as the race of tomorrow takes the reversed grid of the 6 first places. God give Natacha a new chance, as Will Bratt got a Drive-trugh as he was 4th.

Natacha recovers her 6th place, but will fight until the end because of his problem of over-turn.

She finished 6th and 3rd in the Spanish Cup, but the important thing is that the 6th place will go on the 1st place on the 1st line tomorrow during the 2nd race.

The victory returns to his teammate German Sanchez who made a perfect race.

The mechanics and engineers will have a lot of work tonight and this night to correct the problem and enable Natacha to have the best chance to win her 1st race of the season.

At the level of classification, she gets 4 points which led to 22 points and the 5th place in the Overall ranking at 13 points of the leader Bruno Mendez.

28.06.2008 - Albacete Qualifications (13:30)

Summary

Placed in the 2nd group, Natacha had to do better than Bruno Mendez who temporarily held the fastest time with 1'24'148.

The session had started since 8 minutes when the yellow flag was set. Natacha took the opportunity to return to stand in the 7th round having done time 1'24.558.

She left for 2 laps before returning to the Box to put new tires.

In leaving, she found herself too close to other competitors and could not improve his time realized in the 6th lap.

The pole position came to German Sanchez, his teammate with 1'24.065.

Natacha therefore start tonight in the 3rd line and she will try to gain a few places at the start, let us hope!

28.06.2008 - Albacete (10:00)

Summary

We are less than 2 hours from qualifications and the tension rises. This morning, a television crew from Madrid came to the hotel to do a interview and to follow Natacha to the Track.

The temperature is already 30 degrees and the track will be hot at the time of qualifications.

Starting in the 2nd part (Pair), Natacha should have better conditions than the 1st group. The reason is that, before the formula 3, the GT's are running, but as they do not use the same paths that F3, the track is not optimum right after them.

27.06.2008 - Albacete 3rd free test session (18:00)

Summary

The car had been set for the problem of under-turn, Natacha was placed in the top 3 with old tires.

At 6 minutes from the end of the session, she went with new tires. Unfortunately, she did not even have time to complete a full lap before the red flag come out following an exit road of a pilot to a dangerous place.

She concluded the 3rd session with the 11th time but which was carried out with the old tires (1s difference), exactly 1s away from of her other teammate, German Sanchez.

A little frustrated, she is indead very confident for the qualifications of tomorrow.

The results obtained today by the pilots of the Team Campos are excellent, and the battle will be hard during the qualifications of tomorrow.

27.06.2008 - Albacete 2nd free test session (16:00)

Summary

The temperature of the track changing, Natacha had some difficulties in the fast curves with sub-turn. In addition, the traffic was very important and it is virtually impossible to overcome, and she could not really do a good time. The 2nd set of brake pad was also prepared.

One very positive note, Natacha feel confident with the car, despite this small defect to be corrected for the 3rd session.

Natacha finished with the 6th time at 1s 2 / 10 of his team-mate Adrian Campos Junior.

27.06.2008 - Albacete 1st free test session (14:00)

Summary

The 1st test session went well. The oobjectif was to run the brakes and take contact with the track.

Natacha finished with the 6th time at 4 / 10 of his team-mate Adrian Campos Junior.

The weather conditions are very good, but it is ddifficult get used to the heat of 37 degrees !
