Summary

Natacha did a good operation this weekend despite difficult conditions during the qualifications and a 1st race drama.

She scores 7 points in the Spanish Championship and 16 points in Spanish Cup.

These results enable her to reduce her deficit to 5 points on Panciatici 2nd and take the lead in Spanish Cup with 4 points ahead of Panciatici.

The big losers of this weekend are Panciatici who loses the lead of the Spanish Championship and De Marco that has been distanced by 4 points by Natacha.

It is now the Teammate of Natacha, German Sanchez who leads the provisional ranking.

19.10.2008 - 14:30 Race 2 results

Summary

Finally, Natacha ends at the 5th place in this second race behind her teammates Campos and Sanchez. The victory goes to Ebbesvik in front of Will Bratt.

Natacha scores 5 valuable points and maintains her 3rd position in the overall standing of the Spanish Championship. Nelson Panciatici having scored any points this weekend for the Championship and only 3 points in the Cup, Natacha scores 10 points (1st F306) and takes the lead in Spanish Cup with 4 points ahead of Nelson Panciatici.

The start was marked by an accident between Le Gris and Adrian Campos and Natacha had just found the place to avoid them and ended up 5th in the 1st turn.

She tried to put pressure on Campos but without success.

The race of yesterday was marked by an accident on the line involving Yacaman and Bruno Mendez. The race director after discussion imposed a penalty of 40 seconds to Mendez, to allow Natacha to finish 8th and scoring one additonal point.

The outcome of the race 2 could also undergo a change if Campos should get a penalty for having pushed Jonathan Legris.

19.10.2008 - 10:30 Point of situation before Race 2

We have a wonderful weather here in Jerez. The Formula 3000 race is under way and everybody looked the end of the F1 GP.

Natacha has analyzed her race of yesterday and she holds all the answers to fight and glean the maximum of points in the 2nd race which will be held at 12:30.

18.10.2008 - 17:30 Race 1 results

Summary

Bad luck for Natacha. She made an excellent start but at the 1st turn, her car was under-turning and Sanchez passed her.

The race was a nightmare as her car was so difficult to drive. She went from 7th place in the 2nd round to the 10th place by taking a curve too wide.

She did everything possible to stay in contact to try to finish in the points and took advantage of the exit of a competitor to finish 9th.

She socres 1 small point and remains 3rd in the championship with 69 points, 10 points behind Sanchez and 11 points behind Panciatici who dit not score any point.

She gets on the podium in Spanish Cup by taking the 3rd place and is thus guaranteed to finish in the top 2 for the final ranking of the Cup.

We all hope that Natacha will have a good car for the 2nd race of tomorrow!

18.10.2008 - 13:30 Qualifications results

Summary

It's finally on a wet runway and partially wet that took place the qualifications session.

Natacha finished at the 7th position, just ahead of German Sanchez, her teammate.

The Pole returned to Victor Garcia, in front of Adrian Campos and Will Bratt.

Natacha was long in the 4th position before the track became drier, losing 3 places passed by pilots shod with slick tires.

She will start in the 4th line for the 1st race scheduled at 15:30.

The Championship leader, Nelson Panciatici, finished in 18th position.

The race of this afternoon is crucial for the classification of the Championship.

18.10.2008 - 09:30 Point of situation before qualifications

Summary

This morning when we arrived at the circuit, the sky was still a little overcast. For now, rain is not in the program.

At 9:30, the pilots have their breefing and from 11:45 qualifications for 30 minutes. They are finally 24 pilots who take part in the 8th round.

17.10.2008 - Summary of the 3 free practice sessions

Summary

Natacha still seems confident and close from the times of her direct competitors. The defects on her car have been fixed but the differences between the pilots are very low.

The qualifications of tomorrow will be tight and she will to make the best time at the right moment.

Free Practice session 3

Started with old tires, Natacha stopped after 16 minutes to put new tires. During his round of heats, the red flag came out and the session was stopped for 4 minutes. She went to heat her tires but she could not get the best because of a yellow flag.

She finished in the 8th place.

Free Practice session 2

During the break, her engineer has made changes and Natacha ended with the 3rd time at only 3 tenths of Bruno Mendez. The defects found during the 1st session seem to have been corrected.

Free Practice session 1

Natacha has been credited with the 11th time in less than a second from Will Bratt. Her car had some imperfections including a lack of grip and above all, the tended to slide.

During this session, she also prepared the brake pads for the qualifications and the two races of this weekend.
